The space This is a completely off-grid tour glamping experience. Before booking Please be sure to view our “Other things to note” The idea is to disconnect, kick back and enjoy, but still have those perks of having some connected amenities when needed. You can enjoy our many fun board games, and with our solar power for small electronic devices to keep your devices charged. You can enjoy Our in-house Bluetooth sound system and coffee maker. Fresh water for hot outdoor showers and private restrooms, with Outdoor kitchen area with propane grill island to make your favorite food and eat by the fire pit under the stars! With regards to COVID-19, we are taking extra steps to ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of our Futuro and all amenities. Our goal is to make sure your stay is as safe as possible. However, if you do not feel well or have been exposed to COVID-19 please stay home. Guest access Let yourself in with wireless remote door opening. The property is a spacious 5 acres, but ask guest to stay in designated area of the Futuro fence line. Other things to note OPERATIONS AND SAFTEY GUIDE We are a off grid Glamping experience and Joshua Tree has all types of extreme weather conditions. We monitor these conditions and make adjustments of our amenities based upon them. Example, in the hotter months our AC will run on our gas generator oppose to our solar to ensure guests have power through out the night. We will always inform guests of any updates or changes made before. Futuro Door and emergency exit: •Do not push, pull or stand on door as it is opening or closing. Do not grab the cables attached to the door while entering or exiting, please use rails attached to wall. •In an unlikely event that there is a door malfunction and not opening, there is an emergency escape hatch under middle area rug. Roll back the rug, unlock the hatch and pull the handle door up and exit. *There is a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm in the Futuro. There are also two fire extinguishers located inside the Futuro. Near the entrance and one by the daybed* •Heating is a indoor safe propane heater. For use make sure the propane tank is open and Instruction for use is on equipment. REMEMBER TO TURN OFF TANK AND HEATER WHEN NOT USING ELECTRICITY: Given that this is off-grid and completely solar powered. Power conservation is advised, and If at any point there is a lost of power the inverter may have had an overload and you will need to go under the Futuro and reset the silver inverter by switching it off and then back on. There is also a backup Power station inside, this may also need to be reset by pressing the AC power button on the back. Kitchen and fire pit: REMEMBER TO TURN OFF •For safety the igniter for grill disconnected. Simply turn gas on and use provided lighter to get flame for grill. Fire pit igniter is connected BUT in windy night will sometimes require a lighter. Shower info: REMEMBER TO TURN OFF •Shower has hot water. Turn turn propane tank on in small box just outside shower, and inside show turn the blue handle for water flow, and press the button on shower head. •Control the temperature by adjusting the labeled hot and cold dials on system. Bathroom info: •There are lights on the inside of the bathroom on the ceiling with an on and off switch. •If a toilet does not flush, it is because the tank is not filled with water. Simply turn on the water hose just outside to fill the tank (visible to the left of switches) and turn off the hose so that it does not overflow. • There is a small door just outside the trailer that has 3 white switches for the lights, sink, and toilet. Please check these are on for bathroom function. Also please turn off after use. (There are lighted pathways to pergola, restrooms and shower, but if additional light is needed please have your flash lights available. Please remember this is GLAMPING, which is camping with some limited luxury amenities. We test, check and fill all amenities, water, heaters, fire pit, grill, lights, speakers etc. before arrival to insure proper function for guests complete enjoyment and comfortability. Conservation of energy, water and gas are advised and failure to adhere to these instructions during your stay will could result in a uncomfortable stay and void any refund.
