experience Let’s have some fun and FIND SOME SEAGLASS. There is much to admire, collect and discover here on the shores in Newport RI and the surrounding towns! On the day of our beachcombing adventure, we meet-up at a local park to communicate about driving and parking. From the park, we’ll drive a short distance to the shore. Once situated at our locale, - I’ll provide a brief history and overview of the areas we’ll search. - share techniques and valuable tips for where, and how, to look. - offer information/stories about the items we find. Once we are established, you may choose to go off a bit on your own, OR you can hang with me and we’ll go it together! (two sets of eyes are better than one, and I am pleased to share what I find on these guided ‘Combing trips.) A number of variables effect conditions, and factor into what we find. So, while I can make no guarantees about what you will find, I will say…I have NEVER left the beach dissatisfied with what I hold in my palm + pockets.
