This is tour is a 90 minute sensory blast! Come barefoot if you like and be prepared to immerse yourself in the garden. This is a please touch, smell, and get close and personal with plants experience!!!! *Guests arrive no more than 10 minutes before tour in the alley entrance of the home. The PermaLifeStyle sign will clearly indicate the waiting area. * I (your guide) will give a brief introduction to Urban Permaculture before opening the gates to the tour and then the info will come to life. * The first round of the tour will focus on water; harvesting, recycling, tapping into & routing. *The second round of tour will focus on the art of soil building. Guests will actively participate in this enriching ceremony. Preparation for this sacred impermanent art involves ¨tip- toeing through the garden with scissors, pruning, dead heading flowers, sculpting vines and bushes, otherwise known as gathering supplies. Guest are welcome to photograph their artwork! *The third round of the tour will direct guests toward noting the reciprocity flowing through the garden, the functions and gifts the different plants and foliage provide for each other and encourage guests to participate in their communion. *Time permitting there is Q & A session on the back patio. Registration for tour grants approval for your photo to be shared on Airbnb, Facebook and Instgram. Mask required.
