Learn Watercolor by the Cochecho River experience Known for being a difficult medium, Danielle Festa will introduce techniques that take the fear out of watercolor painting. This course is designed for both seasoned artists who have an interest in exploring new methods and those who have never picked up a brush. We will be painting the beautiful Cocheco River as it winds around the historic Washington Street Mills at Henry Law Park. Before we start to paint the landscape before us, Danielle will introduce 8 basic techniques to make working with watercolors easier. She will also present examples to show how the techniques have been used by other artists. All materials will be supplied along with refreshing Iced Tea Seltzer or Lemonade while we work. Danielle will be happy to share her knowledge of the history of Dover as well.
