On this multifaceted river walk, away from the tourist traps of the city, we’ll observe the lush wildlife from the looming Cottonwoods, to the elegant Sandhill Cranes; we’ll get an up close and personal look at the 400-year old acequia canals that fuel the agriculture of New Mexico; and we’ll pass by a few historical markers off the beaten path to learn some hidden history of Albuquerque.
