Equine Immersion Therapy

We invite you to enjoy the simple pleasure of a one-on-one horse experience in a calm, natural and meditative environment. In these personalized equine immersion sessions you can interact with the horse of your choice from our family of six beautiful and friendly horses. Each visit start with a brief review on horse safety before introductions to the horses. Once you have selected the horse that speaks to you, I will introduce you to that particular animal, educate you about their special breed or qualities, and lead you into a meditative mood and hands-on touch-therapy and grooming session. Guests will then lead the horse on a trust-building walk around our 5 acres. Once guests are comfortable we will walk out into the pasture where horse can be allowed to range free. If you and horse have made a connection the horse will follow you around in quiet companionship. This open air walk is great for building trust, empathy, and confidence. All of our horses enjoy petting and connecting with guests and offer the opportunity for you to find your own sort of connection. No riding is permitted. We are handicap accessible and no prior horse experience is necessary. I will lightly guide you through your session and be nearby during the free range portion of the visit. Sessions will end with you thanking your horse with a treat. Other times/dates are available upon request.
