Award Winning Wine Blending Experience
experience This is your chance to be a winemaker. Awarded Best Winery Experience by LuxLife Magazine! We start by learning how our winery creates award winning wine blends. You will then engage in a tasting of four different pure varietal dry red wines. As we taste each wine, the group will discuss and analyze its flavor, aroma, body, tannins, and mouth feel. You will then use our authentic vintner equipment to experiment with blending the wines in different percentages until you find a blend formula that you love. Think of this as high school chemistry with wine! Once each participant decides on their unique blend formula, our staff will help you create a bottle of your individual blend to take home as a souvenir of your experience. The overall experience will last approximately two hours and takes place in our Continental Divide Winery tasting room in Breckenridge Colorado. Continental Divide is the highest altitude winery in the world producing its wines at over 10,000' elevation. We are the four time winner of the Best of Summit competition and a Double Gold winner in the Colorado Governor's Cup Wine Competition.
